ஏணிப்படிகளில் மாந்தர்கள் பாகம்-2

சுவாமிகளோட அனுக்கிரஹம், என்னோட ப்ரண்ட் ஸ்ரீமதி பத்மா, சிவன் சாரோட “ஏணிப்படிகளில் மாந்தர்கள்” பாகம்-2 புஸ்தக வெளியீட்டுக்கு போயிருந்தா. அடுத்த நாள் காலம்பறவே அவா நேரா ஆத்துக்கு வந்து அந்த புஸ்தகத்தை ஒரு ப்ரதி என்கிட்ட குடுத்தா. நேத்திக்கு மணிக்கணக்கா அந்தப் புஸ்தகத்தை ரொம்ப ஆனந்தமாக படிச்சுண்டு இருந்தேன்.

சிவன் சார் அவரோட எழுத்துக்கள் மூலமா நம்மோடயே வாழ்ந்துண்டு இருக்கார். அவருக்கே உரித்தான அந்தத் தனி பாணி, அபாரமான கருணை, அங்கங்கே கொஞ்சம் நையாண்டி, கேலி எல்லாத்தோடவும் நம்ம மனசை அப்படியே கொள்ளை கொள்கிறார். அவர் மொத்தமா 18 டைரிகள்ல 5,000 பக்கங்கள் எழுதி இருக்கார். அதுல இருந்து ஒரு 450 பக்கங்களை தேர்ந்தெடுத்து (பாகம் 1-ல இல்லாதது) சிவசாகரம் சத்சங்கம் இப்போ இரண்டாம் பாகமா வெளியிட்டு இருக்கா.

இந்த “ஏணிப்படிகளில் மாந்தர்கள்”  புஸ்தகத்தைப் படிக்கறதுக்கு (இரண்டுமே) ஒரு தைரியமும் மனோபலமும் வேணும். தினமும் ஒரு பத்து பக்கமாவது ராமாயணம், பாகவதம் பாராயணம் பண்ற மாதிரி இதையும் பண்ணனும் என்று கோவிந்த தாமோதர சுவாமிகள் அவரோட பக்தர்களுக்கு உபதேசம் பண்ணி இருக்கார். ஸ்ரீ சுந்தர்குமார் அவரோட உபதேசத்தை அப்படியே கடைபிடிக்கிறார். அவர் அந்தப் புஸ்தகத்துக்கு பூஜை பண்ணி, நித்தமும் பத்து பக்கம் பாராயணம் பண்றதா சொல்லி இருக்கார்.

ஏன் இதைப் படிக்கத் தைரியம் வேணும்னு சொல்றேன்னா, நம்மோட பல நம்பிக்கைகளை இது அசைக்கும். நாம ஆத்மீகத்துல ஏதோ ஒரு நிலையை அடைஞ்சுட்டதா நினைச்சுண்டு இருந்தா, நம்ம அகங்காரத்தை அப்படியே சுக்குநூறாக்கி விடும். ஆனா அதுவே நமக்கு ஒரு அடக்கத்தையும், சரியான பாதையையும் காட்டி, வாழ்க்கை பூரா வழிகாட்டியா இருந்து நம்ம பரமாத்மா கிட்ட கூட்டிட்டு போகும்.

முதல் பாகத்தைப் படிக்கும்போது நமக்கு வந்த பல சந்தேகங்களுக்கு இந்த இரண்டாம் பாகத்துல பதில் கிடைச்சுடும். ஏணிப்படிகளில் மனுஷாளோட தரம், தெய்வீகம், ஆத்மீகம் பத்தின தெளிவை குடுக்கறதுக்காகவே இந்த புஸ்தகத்தோட பெரும் பகுதி ஒதுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கு. இது மகான்களோடவும், ஞானிகளோடவும் உன்னதமான நடத்தையைப் பத்தி நாம தெரிஞ்சுக்கறதுக்கும், நம்ம மனசை சட்டுனு மேன்மைப்படுத்தவும் ரொம்ப ஒத்தாசையா இருக்கு.

இந்த புஸ்தகத்துல பல இடங்கள்ல சார் ராமாயணம், பாகவதம், விக்ரஹ ஆராதனை, உண்மையான பக்தி பத்தியும், நாம பிறந்து இருக்கற இந்த தெய்வமதத்தோட விசேஷத்தைப் பத்தியும் ரொம்ப சிலாகிச்சு சொல்லி இருக்கார். எப்பவும் போல, மனசுல ஒண்ணு வெச்சுண்டு வெளில ஒண்ணு பண்ற வேஷத்தை சார் கண்டிக்கறார். மனசு, வாக்கு, செயல் மூணுலையும் நேர்மையா இருக்கணும்னு வற்புறுத்திச் சொல்றார். இப்ப நாம இருக்கிறது ரொம்ப மோசமான பாப காலம்னும், இன்னும் நூறு வருஷத்துல மறுபடியும் ஒரு பாமர உலகம் வரும்னும், சோழ வம்சத்துல இருந்து ஒருத்தர் வந்து இந்த உலகத்தையே சக்ரவர்த்தியா ஆள்வார்னும் சார் நிறைய தீர்க்கதரிசனங்கள் சொல்லி இருக்கார்.

தெய்வமதம்னா என்னங்கறதையும், கடவுள் மேலயும் மகான்கள் மேலயும் ஒரு அசைக்க முடியாத நம்பிக்கையும் நமக்கு இந்த புஸ்தகம் மூலமா பல இடங்கள்ல ஏற்படும். இந்தப் புஸ்தகத்தை பூஜை அறையில வெச்சு தினமும் படிச்சுண்டு வந்தா, சிவன் சாரோட பரிபூர்ண அனுக்கிரஹம் வாழ்க்கை முழுக்க நமக்கு இருக்கும்.

அந்தப் புஸ்தகத்தோட பேப்பர், அச்சு, அட்டைப் படத்துல திருவண்ணாமலை பின்னணியோட இருக்கற சாரோட போட்டோ, பைண்டிங்னு எல்லாமே ரொம்ப நன்னா, ஃபர்ஸ்ட் கிளாஸா இருக்கு. இந்தப் புஸ்தகத்தைக் கொண்டு வந்த சிவசாகரம் டிரஸ்ட்டுக்குத் தான் பெரிய நமஸ்காரம் பண்ணனும். மத்த மதத்துல இருக்கற ஓட்டைகளையும், இப்ப இருக்கற அரசாங்கத்தோட ஊழல்களையும் வெட்ட வெளிச்சமா விமர்சனம் பண்ற இந்தப் புஸ்தகத்தை இந்த காலத்துல ரிலீஸ் பண்றதுக்கு ரொம்ப தைரியம் வேணும்.

கடைசியா, அந்த அறியாமையில இருக்கறவா பண்ற தப்புக்களை சார் எழுதிருக்கறதைப் படிக்கும் போது, அது நமக்கும் பல விதத்துல பொருந்துறதை நினைச்சு நாமளே நடுங்கிடுவோம். மகாபெரியவா, சிவன்சார், கோவிந்த தாமோதர சுவாமிகள் இவா எல்லாரும் நம்மள அவாளை சேர்ந்தவனாக நினைச்சு, அவா மனசுல நமக்கு ஒரு இடம் குடுத்து, நல்வழி காட்டணும்னு நாம பிரார்த்தனை தான் பண்ணிக்கணும்.

By the grace of the Swamigal, my friend Srimati Padma attended the book release of Shivan Sar’s Enippadigalil Maandhargal (Part 2). The very next morning, she came straight to my house and gave a copy of the book to me. Yesterday, I spent hours reading that book with great joy.

Shivan Sar continues to live among us through his writings. With his inimitable style, immense compassion, and touches of wit and sarcasm here and there, he completely captures our hearts. He wrote a total of 5,000 pages across 18 diaries. Out of those, the Shivasagaram Satsangam has selected 450 pages (distinct from Part 1) and released them as the second part.

One needs courage and mental strength to read this book, (Enippadigalil Maandhargal both parts). Govinda Damodara Swamigal advised his devotees that one should read this book at least ten pages daily, much like performing a parayanam (devotional reading) of the Ramayana or Bhagavata. Shri Sundarkumar strictly follows this advice. He has shared that he keeps the book in his puja and performs a parayanam of ten pages every day.

The reason I say one needs courage to read this is that it will shake many of our beliefs. If we think we have attained a certain level in spiritual life, it will shred our ego into pieces. However, that process itself grants us humility, shows us the right path, and acts as a lifelong guide to lead us toward the Paramatma.

Many doubts that arose while reading the first part find their answers in this second part. A major portion of this book is dedicated to providing clarity on the different levels of human character and behavior, their divinity, and spirituality. This helps us understand the noble conduct of great sages and philosophers and instantly uplifts our minds.

In many places in this book, Sar has greatly praised the Ramayana, the Bhagavata, vigraha aradhana (deity worship), and the nature of true devotion, as well as the greatness of being born into this Deivamatham. As always, Sar condemns hypocrisy—having one thing in the heart and acting differently outside. He insists that one must be honest in thought, word, and deed. He has shared many prophecies: that we are currently in a severe paapa kaalam (sinful age), that a Paamara Ulagam will return and in another hundred years, someone from the Chola dynasty will emerge to rule the world as an emperor.

Through this book, we gain a deep understanding of what Deivamatham truly is and develop unshakable faith in God , Shastram and the power of Mahans. By keeping this book in our puja room and reading it daily, Shivan Sar’s complete grace will be with us throughout our lives.

The quality of the paper, the printing, the cover photo of Sar with Tiruvannamalai in the background, and the binding are all top-class. Big namaskaram to the Shivasagaram Trust for bringing out this book. It takes a lot of guts to release such a book in this day and age that so openly criticizes the loopholes in other religions and the fraudulent practices of current governments.

Finally, when we read Sar’s descriptions of the foibles of the ignorant, we will shudder to realize how much of it applies to us in various ways. We must simply pray to Mahaperiyava, Shivan Sar, and Govinda Damodara Swamigal to consider us as their own, give us a place in their hearts, and show us the right path.
