Namasthe- Could you please do a write up of rules of chanting in Sanskrit. Please explain where and when do we pronounce the Ha : sound and when do we not say the Ha : sound. There are rules and if you can do a good writeup with examples from Mooka Panchasathi and Vishnu Sahsranamam , will amply make clear the rule. Thanks for your help.
When reading slokams, if the words are split and read, you will hear the visargam which is the ha sound (or hi or hu etc) which was there in the original word. Actually there are no rules on how much to split while reading slokams. My teacher split a lot for ease of reading (to take more breadths) and to pronounce the Sanskrit letters clearly. He use to further give pauses based on the meaning, something like, the end of sentences. I have have some of that influence in my chanting.
