Very nice presentation of how one (Grace) cajoles his own mind to come back to rest in nest of iswara’ padam, this nest is built in higher branches of the Vedas (upanishads) and enjoy the nectarine fruits (of Gnana I thought)..

Birds 🦅 , here I felt have a special relevance. Birds have this habit of returning to its home daily in the evening and even trans-migratory birds travel thousands of mile always to travel back home at a fixed season.
Like wise this mind can travel all around the world be it for spirituality or otherwise it cannot stop till comes back to rest in its heart centre (iswara padam) enjoying the atmaanandam (fruits).. How ever distracted, it will instinctively return to its source or look for its source sooner or later..
I am reminded of an Arunachala ashtakam verse which uses the analogy of rain water and bird , that to me seem very relevant supplement.
Many thanks for the wondering mananam this verse kindled..

பஞ்ச இந்தரியங்களால் மனம் அலைந்து, திரிந்து இந்த வாழ்க்கையை வெட்டிப் பொழுதாக செலவழிக்கிறோம்!
பரமேஸ்வரனின் பாத பத்மம் எனும் கூட்டில் பறவைகள் தஞ்சம் அடைவது போல் சிக்கெனப் பிடித்தாள் அந்த பேரின்ப நிலையிலிருந்து சாமான்ய உலக பாச பந்தன்களிலிருந்து மெதுவாக ஆனால் ஸ்திரமாக விடுபடலாம் என்கிறார் ஆசார்யாள் !
அதே போல் பாதாரவிந்தா சதகம் ஸ்லோகத்தில் தேவியின் பாதங்களை கிளிக் கோடாக பாவித்து, பஞ்ச இந்தரிய சுகங்களையும் அனுபவிக்கிறோம்.
மனித மனத்தைக் கிளிக் குஞ்சாக பாவித்து, இந்திரிய, விஷய சுகங்களில் ஈடு பட்ட மனம், வலையில் இருந்த தான்யங்களை சுவைத்து அழுத்த கிளிக்கு உவமையாக சொல்கிறார் உழன்று திரிந்த என்னை உத்தமனாக்கி வைத்தாய் என்ற பாடலுக்கு நேர் அர்த்தம் !
இதை விட பாக்யம் ஏதுமில்லை அவர் சரண்புகுவது ஒன்றுதான் நம்மை உய்விக்க வல்லது
